This photograph, taken by Vikki Nelson on New Year’s day 2017, is a “drop into detail” of what the Valley has to offer. Here you can see Peña Labra and Peña de Brez and in the foreground Yebas church with a flock of sheep guarded by one of the famous Liébana mastines. Yebas is just 15 minutes walk from Olmares and this scene is very typical of the beauty and tranquility that lies all around.
